Rameli Musa being investigated for stealing 1MDB’s money
Anwar has got Rameli into a real mess of gigantic proportions. Now this is no longer just about the RM1.4 million, which Anwar alleged Rameli paid Clare. It is also about the RM90 million that Clare alleged Najib paid Hadi, PAS and a number of PAS leaders, and which the MACC suspects was paid through Rameli to hide the paper trail.

Yesterday, KTMB chairman, Rameli Musa, was summoned to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office for interrogation. According to deep throats within the MACC, the investigation is not just regarding the RM1.4 million that Rameli paid Clare Rewcastle Brown. It is also being extended to the RM90 million supposedly stolen from 1MDB that Clare alleged Najib Tun Razak paid PAS leaders, party president Abdul Hadi Awang included.
Clare alleged that Najib gave Hadi and other PAS leaders RM90 million. Clare also alleged that Rameli paid her RM1.4 million. She further alleged that the RM1.4 million that Rameli paid her was on behalf of Hadi. Hence it makes sense that the RM1.4 million is part of the RM90 million, which Clare said Najib paid Hadi and the other PAS leaders.
The MACC has left no stone unturned in the search for the most elusive RM90 million that Clare says Najib paid Hadi and gang. But they still cannot find even RM1 of that RM90 million. This could be because Najib did not pay Hadi and the other PAS leaders direct but through a middleman.

Since Anwar Ibrahim and Rafizi Ramli say the middleman who paid Clare the RM1.4 million was Rameli, this can most likely mean the RM90 million also went to Rameli. If not, why would Rameli pay Clare RM1.4 million on behalf of Hadi, as Clare’s lawyer, Americk Sidhu, admits.
The MACC has confiscated Rameli’s cheque buds and bank statements. They want to see, other than the RM1.4 million, how much more has been paid out and to whom. The MACC also wants to find out where Rameli’s millions come from for him to be able to pay Anwar Ibrahim and other PKR leaders tens of millions.
Many ex-PAS leaders now in PAN or Amanah have also received money from Rameli, as have some Umno leaders. So this is more than just about Hadi and a number of PAS leaders who are said to have received financing from Rameli.
