Hadi admitted to IJN, ordered to rest
PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has been admitted to the National Heart Institute (IJN) for treatment.
(Mkini) – Confirming the matter, Hadi’s press secretary Abdul Malik Ab Razak said doctors have instructed the 72-year-old Marang MP to take a good rest after his admission yesterday.
“Yes, he was admitted into IJN yesterday. The doctors advised tuan guru (Hadi) to rest,” Abdul Malik told Malaysiakini in a brief WhatsApp message this morning.
In May 2017, Hadi underwent a heart valve surgery in IJN, after which he reportedly praised the excellent treatment accorded by the medical team there.
