Yes, Malaysians are not always told the truth. And the truth regarding the assassinations of Dr Joe Fernandez, Altantuya Shaariibuu, Pastor Raymond Koh, Amri Che Mat, and many others, may never be known. And that is why Tan Sri Razali Ismail resigned as the Suhakan Chairman two weeks before the end of his term as a mark of protest.

What do ex-police officer turned private investigator Perumal Balasubramaniam (also known as P.I. Bala), ASP Suresh Kumar, Corporal Sirul Azhar Umar, and Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri all have in common?
They were all one-time members of the police hit squad. So, yes, Malaysia, too, just like all the other countries in the world, does have its assassination squad to get rid of troublesome people.

The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) chairman, Tan Sri Razali Ismail, has submitted his resignation from the post. He has taken this step just two weeks before his term officially ends.
Is Razali’s resignation a symbolic protest against the powers that be with regards to the lackadaisical manner in which they responded to the findings of the public inquiry conducted by Suhakam on the abductions of Pastor Raymond Koh and Amri Che Mat? (READ MORE HERE).

The coroner’s court here has ruled that the fatal shooting of former Lunas assemblyman Dr Joe Fernandez eight years ago had nothing to do with his business, political or personal relationships.
Coroner M. Mageswari delivered an open verdict, finding that the police should continue with further and thorough investigations into the murder.
She said her finding was based on the evidence from eight witnesses during the inquest which began on Feb 27, 2006.
On Nov 4, 2000, Dr Fernandez was gunned down by two men on a motorcycle at the Jalan Maju-Jalan Harapan junction here, while he was driving home for lunch from his clinic. (READ MORE HERE).

Yes, Dr Joe Fernandez’s assassination was declared an “open verdict”. Actually, the police know who assassinated Dr Joe Fernandez and why. But for reasons of national security, the details cannot be revealed.
And this is why Tan Sri Razali Ismail is angry and the reason why he resigned as the Suhakam Chairman two weeks before the end of his term.
By the way, while on this subject, the common belief is that Sirul and Azilah were Najib Tun Razak’s bodyguards and that Najib or/and Rosmah ordered the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu.
