How to run Malaysia when you have FOUR Finance Ministers?
THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin
Daim Zainuddin in China giving them 4,500 acres of Malaysian land (Daim is the one wearing slippers)
Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said he does not know what deal Tun Daim Zainuddin, the Chairman of the Council of Elders, signed with China. Actually, Guan Eng also does not know what Economic Minister Azmin Ali or de facto Finance Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad are doing as well.
For that matter, in the entire Pakatan Harapan government, the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.
Segambut voters kicked out Tengku Adnan because Pakatan Harapan promised to stop the Taman Rimba Kiara development project and now it’s on again
One of the reasons the voters in Segambut voted for Pakatan Harapan is because of DAP Hannah Yeoh’s promise to stop Tengku Adnan Mansor’s Taman Rimba Kiara development project. And now that Amanah’s Khalid Samad has replaced Umno’s Tengku Adnan as the new Federal Territory Minister, the Taman Rimba Kiara development project is on again (just like the ECRL, Bandar Malaysia, Iskandar Waterfront City, and many more — all on again).
Minister in the Prime Minister Department, Mujahid Yusof Rawa, another Amanah dunggu, is also not toeing the Pakatan Harapan line. He is banning books published by the Islamic Renaissance Front (IRF).
Mujahid does not seem to understand that Malaysia is NOT a Taliban state but a Secular country. Islam is merely the religion of the Federation but is not binding and the Sharia laws apply only to family matters and crimes against God — for Muslims only.
Amanah’s Mujahid is banning “un-Islamic” books just like what the Taliban does
Which part of the word SECULAR does Mujahid not understand?
I mean, the government cannot ban books just because the writings may go against Islamic teachings. This is not how things are done in a Secular country like Malaysia. If in Afghanistan then maybe that would be acceptable.
Islam also opposes the belief that Jesus is the Son of God and that Jesus died and came back to life three days later. But can the government ban the Bible and all other Christian books that publish anything that goes against this Islamic belief? So why ban books published by IRF or even by Shia writers? This is just not acceptable in a Secular country and it goes against the very principle of what Pakatan Harapan stands for.
Guan Eng says he does not know what Mahathir, Daim and Azmin (the other three Finance Ministers) are doing
No, not only Guan Eng, everyone in Pakatan Harapan does not seem to know what is going on. One dunggu says left, the other says right, another says forward, and yet another says backwards. In the end everyone is zigzagging all over the place.
Take the new Johor EXCO as another example. Mahathir just announced that His Majesty the Sultan of Johor has no say (no power/no authority) in the appointments of the Johor EXCO. Then Muhyiddin Yassin defies Mahathir and goes and meets up with the Johor Sultan to discuss the new line-up for the Johor EXCO.
