Kadir Jasin instructs the IGP to investigate the Johor Royal Family
The fact we are seeing a repeat of events of the late 1980s-early 1990s is not really the surprise here because Malaysia Baru is no different from Malaysia Lama and Mahathir 2.0 is the same Mahathir of 1981-2003. However, what is surprising is, after all that talk about reforms and Pakatan Harapan’s New Malaysia, Mahathir’s minions such as Kadir Jasin can still treat the police force as their personal property and regard the IGP as their office boy.

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s media spokesman, A. Kadir Jasin , has instructed the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Abdul Hamid Bador, to investigate the Johor Royal Family regarding their business interests and companies linked to the palace.
