Daim and Mahathir can no longer tolerate Guan Eng

Guan Eng’s overly incessant yet inconsistent rants about the economy and the state of affairs in the country has ticked many a foreign investor off and contributed immensely to the RM300 billion draught in the stock market and the RM11.8 billion pullout from the portfolio market.

Both Mahathir and Tun Daim Zainuddin aren’t pleased with the junior Lim’s rants and have narrowed their convictions down to somewhere between “he’s out to sabotage us” and “his clowning around will spell doom for PH.”

The Third Force

Pakatan Harapan mouthpiece and man-who-likes-to-takes-a-dig-at-rulers-ever-chance-he-gets, A Kadir Jasin, did two things today.

First, he told us what it means when someone says “fifty per cent,” or “five out of ten,” explaining that in group situations, when a whole group is assigned a 50 per cent performance score, it means that some performed better than 50 per cent while others failed to hit the percentile mark.

Math enthusiasts, take note.

Next, Kadir told us what Mahathir already told us and what three quarter of Malaysians already read via newspapers, the internet, blogs, WhatsApp, We Chat, Instagram and what have you.

According to him, Mahathir rated the Malaysian Cabinet “five out of ten” and lamented that some of his ministers weren’t functioning well.

Kadir, who seems to think he’s minister, cautioned the underperforming ministers to leave voluntarily if they can’t get their act together.

“If there are those who are still crawling and feeling around a year after being given the opportunity and responsibility, then it is our responsibility to ask them to reconsider their positions, and if needed, to voluntarily leave so that others can replace them.”
