Fentanyl trafficker in China sentenced to death
(SCMP) – A court in northern China sentenced a fentanyl trafficker to death and eight others to jail on November 7. It was the first big joint fentanyl bust between China and the United States.The nine were sentenced after pleading guilty to manufacturing and smuggling the opioid to the US in a public trial in Hebei province in September last year.
