SYED SADDIQ DEFIES PH’S UNANIMOUS AGREEMENT
1. In response to Syed Saddiq’s statement published entitled “How can PM govern nation when assailed by Anwar’s allies“, might we remind him of how ignorant his statement is.
2. This is not the time to defy Pakatan Harapan’s Presidential Council.
3. Taking a stand is one thing, producing a statement that doesn’t improve the situation is another thing.
4. Syed Saddiq should be refrained from making such statements when not only the PH Presidential Council but also Malaysians demand Tun M to step down and announce the date he will hand over the power to the annointed successor.
5. According to Syed Saddiq, Mahathir had never breached his promise to hand over power.
6. Perhaps Syed Saddiq has forgotten or maybe he is too busy that Mahathir had in fact in an interview with Reuters at the Summit of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) stated that he would hand over the reign after the November summit, not before.
7. Perhaps Syed Saddiq has forgotten that Pakatan Harapan’s Presidential Council UNANIMOUSLY DEMANDS Mahathir to confirm the date of succession once and for all and step down, AS PROMISED.
8. Perhaps Syed Saddiq has forgotten, that PH had CONSECUTIVELY LOST in 5 by-elections.
9. Perhaps Syed Saddiq overlooks the fact that this should serve as a constant reminder that people’s patience has exponentially grown weary and scarce, due to the unfulfilled PH manifesto and Mahathir’s false promises to steer our heavily-indebted country out of troubles when he was the one who drove us straight to it.
10. Perhaps Syed Saddiq should take a step back and reflect on his ‘rightful responsibility’ and refrain from making such ignorant statements.
