Mahavirus, worse than Coronavirus, that spreads Mahathirism
That was how 20,000 British ruled over 300 million Indians. The British divided and ruled and turned Indians against each other. It is a proven formula that works. If not, how can Mahathir control a country of 32 million Malaysians when he has less than 320,000 supporters? You play everyone against one another and play all sides of the field at the same time.
NO HOLDS BARRED

In his Chinese New Year (CNY) message, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said, “Malaysians should not let petty issues be the cause for them to hate each other but instead should strive to strengthen multiracial ties in the country.” (READ MORE BELOW)
I have heard a lot of empty rhetoric and political doublespeak in my life but this latest one by Mahathir takes the cake. Is it not better to just keep quiet and not speak than to say something as idiotic as this?
First of all, what are those so-called “petty issues” that Mahathir is talking about? Can he list down the examples or incidences of these petty issues? And when he labels them as “petty”, by whose standards or yardstick are they petty?
For example, to Muslims, using “Allah” as the translation for “God” in the Malay language Bible is not petty. It is very serious and something Muslims will not tolerate. The word for “God” is “Tuhan”, or “Rabb” in Qur’anic language.
Hence the use of “Allah” as the translation for “God” is considered mischievous and devious and is not a “petty issue” to Muslims. But then the Pakatan Harapan government has not resolved this issue till now and has swept it under the carpet as a “petty issue”.
And there are many more, which Mahathir himself (and most Malaysians) know about, so no need for me to go through the very long list. Let us instead talk about whether Mahathir is offering himself as the cure to the disease or whether he is the cause of the disease.
Yes, cure or cause, which is it?
In 1969, it was Mahathir who first raised the issue that Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman was too compromising with the Chinese and that this was making the Malays angry. Hence the 13th May 1969 race riots, said Mahathir.
You might say that was a younger Mahathir, when he was only 44, and that the older Mahathir has changed for the better. Is that so? Well, in 2013, when he was 88, Mahathir said the same thing about Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak. Mahathir said Najib is wasting his time with the Chinese who will never vote for Barisan Nasional anyway, while ignoring the Malays who are the backbone of Umno.
Never mind if age 44 or age 88. Mahathir still holds the same views. When Mahathir needs Malay support he whacks the Chinese. When he does not have enough Malay support and needs Chinese support he whacks the Malays and calls them lazy and corrupt and says they should be more like the Chinese.
Mahathir helped many Chinese millionaires become billionaires
Is Mahathir a racist? Actually, not quite, because he has been (and still is) working with millionaire Chinese and turned them into billionaires. In fact, many of those millionaires and billionaires are Mahathir’s proxies and nominees who hold his business interests as his trustee. All Chinese know this, even those selling pork, fish and vegetables at the market.
So, Mahathir does not really hate the Chinese. He may hate some DAP and Dong Zong Chinese and call them “communists”, but that is only because they cabar or defy him. If the DAP and Dong Zong Chinese kowtow to him he will be fine with them and will not whack them.
Mahathir is merely a Machiavellian politician. He will play the race and religion card when it suits him. He can be pro-Islam or anti-Islam, pro-Chinese or anti-Chinese, pro-US or anti-US, pro-China or anti-China, pro-PAS or anti-PAS, pro-DAP or anti-DAP — whatever the occasion may demand as long as it fits his political agenda.
Mahathir hates Lim Kit Siang and DAP while he works with them anyway, like a true Machiavellian
So why is Mahathir going on and on in his CNY message (SEE BELOW)? The real problem that Malaysia faces is what we can call the Mahavirus (worse than Coronavirus). He is infecting everyone with the disease called Mahathirism. And Mahathirism demands a divide and rule strategy.
You divide PAS and create Amanah. You divide Umno and create Bersatu. You divide DAP and PKR and create chaos. You divide Pakatan Rakyat and create Pakatan Harapan. You divide Barisan Nasional and create Muafakat Nasional. You divide Muslims into conservative/ fundamental Muslims and liberal/moderate Muslims. You divide the Muslim world into the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Islamic Summit.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s CNY 2020 message
(Bernama) – Malaysians should not let petty issues be the cause for them to hate each other but instead should strive to strengthen multiracial ties in the country, said Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
The prime minister said the people should be wary of instigators with an ill intention of causing racial disharmony in Malaysia.
“If we became irrational and started to hate each other just because of some petty issues, these instigators will think that they have won,” he said in his message in conjunction with the Chinese New Year.
Dr Mahathir said he believed that Malaysia’s strength lies on the maturity of the people who will not be easily fooled by the instigators.
He said, for decades, Malaysians have accepted the fact that Malaysia is a multi-racial country that needs them to tolerate each other to live in peace and harmony.
“So, we must not let the country be destroyed by racial hatred,” he said.
Dr Mahathir said Malaysians had stayed united, helped each other and even worked closely together regardless of their race, religion and background, because of their love for this peaceful and harmonious country.
“This is a blessing that we might have not realised. But believe me, Malaysia will not advance or remain peaceful and harmony as it is today if there were unsolved and prolonged racial conflicts,” he said.
Dr Mahathir also said that the government has plans to strengthen the country’s economy but it needs time and requires the people to the patient, especially the private sector.
Dr Mahathir noted that Malaysia’s economic growth this year, projected to be between 4.3 and 4.8 percent, is still encouraging, and is among the countries with higher growth rates compared to any other Asian country.
“We know our country’s economy is small, but this encouraging growth is proof that our people can work together to boost Malaysia’s development.
“When the country is stable and the people have good skills to work, local and foreign investors will be attracted to invest in Malaysia,” he said.
Dr Mahathir said the government had also approved investments totalling RM149 billion for the first nine months of last year, a relatively bigger amount compared to that approved in the corresponding period of the previous year.
“This is because the government is more active in luring investors to Malaysia,” he said, adding that this had inadvertently created many job opportunities for Malaysians.
At the end of the message, Dr Mahathir and his wife Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali also wished the Malaysian Chinese community Gong Xi Fa Cai and urged all Malaysians to continue with the tradition of visiting the homes of their friends in conjunction with the Chinese New Year.
