PPBM AGM cannot be held, says Ismail Sabri Yaakob

(The Edge Markets) – All annual meetings of companies, cooperatives, associations and organisations must be postponed until a date to be determined by the Ministry of Health (MoH), said Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

“All companies, cooperatives, associations as well as organisations must postpone their annual general meetings (AGMs) till a date that will be fixed and advised by the MOH,” he said.

However, online meetings such as video conferencing are allowed, he said in a press conference here, today.

The move is to avoid large gatherings for these meetings.

The minister’s announcement is timely as companies, especially listed ones, cooperatives and associations will hold their AGMs in the months of April, May and June.
