Old video of ex-Miss Universe Malaysia’s altercation with African woman surfaces

(The Mole) – Former Miss Malaysia Universe Samantha Katie James continues to face backlash on social media, despite her apology over her controversial remarks on the hot-button issue of ‘Black Lives Matter.’

Her apology seemed to have been overshadowed by an old video of her quarreling with a group of locals during her trip to South Africa in 2017, which became viral yesterday.

In the clip, James appears to be embroiled in a foul-mouthed tussle with one of the women in the group.

“This is why you are on the ground. You’re never going to be up there… Malaysia is way better than this f***ing country. We are way more developed,” James told the woman who confronted her.

The confrontation soon intensified when James lost her temper and shoved the woman.

She was then seen throwing champagne glasses and heard shouting obscenities at the woman and others.

James recently found herself in the soup after expressing controversial sentiments regarding the ‘Black Live Matter’ protests in America on her Instagram.

She was heavily criticised by netizens for telling African Americans to “relax” and saying that they “chose to be born as a ‘coloured’ person.”

James took to Instagram yesterday to apologise for her “poorly articulated” remarks.

“I do hear you, I’m sorry, I know you’re hurting. I know it’s unfair. I’m not in your shoes to understand this fully,” she wrote.

She then further clarified her comments about how people “chose” how they were born.

“Throughout my journey I have learned that we are more than just this temporary physical body, like an avatar, merely a tiny speck of dust in this vast infinite universe, we tend to overlook that from time to time,” she said.
