Wan Saiful is what Malays would call bodoh sombong and gong terlajak
Wan Saiful should not be kacang lupakan kulit. Umno may have its faults, but Wan Saiful should remember that Umno started to rot only after Tun Dr Mahathir became Prime Minister in 1981. And is Dr Mahathir not Wan Saiful’s boss? So Wan Saiful cannot wash his hands of what Dr Mahathir did.

Umno perlu banyak berkorban jika mahu PN diteruskan, kata Wan Saiful
(FMT) – Seorang ahli Majlis Tertinggi PPBM berkata, Umno perlu banyak berkorban sekiranya ia mahu gabungan politik Perikatan Nasional (PN) diteruskan dengan lebih serius.
Malah menurut Wan Saiful Wan Jan, PN berpotensi menjadi lebih stabil daripada Pakatan Harapan (PH) dan lebih baik daripada Barisan Nasional (BN).
Beliau berkata, di dalam PN, Umno akan hilang status dominan yang dimilikinya sewaktu BN mentadbir negara dan keadaan itu tidak dinafikan akan menimbulkan kerisauan dalam kalangan pemimpin parti itu, malah sebilangan kecil tokohnya kurang selesa dengan situasi tersebut.

The Malays have a saying: timba kena cari telaga, bukan telaga cari timba. And, in this case, Umno is the telaga while Parti Pribumi Bersatu is the timba. And if you cannot get my drift because your Bahasa Melayu is weak, then that is your problem, not mine.
Wan Saiful Wan Jan should stop being bodoh sombong and gong terlajak. Umno is an institution. Malays are what they are today because of Umno. And you cannot separate Umno from the Malays, just like irama dan lagu tak dapat dipisahkan.
If not because of Umno, Malaysia would today be a republic and the Raja-Raja Melayu would, by now, be extinct — going by the British Malayan Union plan.
If not because of Umno, the Chinese and Indians would have been sent back to China and India and would not have been given citizenship in 1957.
If not because of Umno, Malaysia would not have had a peaceful transitional Merdeka but would have fought a bloody war of independence like Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, and many other countries that saw millions of deaths.
Hell, if not because of Umno, Wan Saiful and five million other Malays would not have received a higher or tertiary education and today would be planting padi, harvesting oil palm fruits, catching fish, or tapping rubber in the rural areas — and the urban areas would still be 99% Chinese.

Do you think Malays care about Perikatan Nasional? Malays care about Umno and PAS. Malays do not really care about Perikatan Nasional. But if Umno and PAS want to berkawan dengan Bersatu then the Malays have no problems with that. And if Umno and PAS do not want to berkawan dengan Bersatu, the Malays also have no problems with that.
To suggest that Umno needs Bersatu more than Bersatu needs Umno is a serious case of bodoh sombong and gong terlajak. In a slim majority situation like now, where it is 115 seats versus 107, every seat counts. And with 60 seats or so in the bag, Umno and PAS are more than just kingmakers. They command the golden vote. So, everyone is important and everyone needs each other. Hence stop talking as if you are the only one with a dick.
