Cops to call up Siti Kasim over FB post

(NST) – Police have received 113 reports in relation to a statement allegedly made by Siti Zabedah Kassim or better known as ‘Siti Kasim’ that was posted on Facebook.

Bukit Aman Criminal Investigations Department director Datuk Huzir Mohamed said Siti Kasim would be summoned to Bukit Aman to have her statement recorded to help in the police investigation.

“An investigation has started on May 27 into the owner of “Siti Kasim” Facebook account regarding the statement entitled ‘Pis Way of Dealing With A Problem’ allegedly could incite chaos,” he said in a statement.

Huzir said investigation into the case was being done under Section 505 (b) of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act.

He also advised the public against issuing, publishing or distributing any rumour or information that could either incite or threaten public order.
