If not because of Najib, Mahathir would not have resigned as Prime Minister, Muhyiddin would not have pulled PPBM out of Pakatan, and the Agong would not have appointed Muhyiddin as PM8. Yes, that is the new narrative which Mahathir is spinning in Parliament. Also, if not because of Najib, Mukhriz would have won the contest for Umno Youth leader in 2009 and the contest for the post of one of the Umno Vice Presidents in 2013. Semua salah Najib.

This was what Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad told Parliament today, as reported by FMT:
Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad today defended his right to criticise Najib Razak, saying the latter is the cause of the fall of the Pakatan Harapan government.
He said he named Najib when explaining his resignation as the seventh prime minister in the Dewan Rakyat because he (Najib) was the previous premier.

“If he is not a former prime minister, I do not have a problem. That is why I have the right to mention his name,” he said when Ahmad Tarmizi Sulaiman (PN-Sik) stood up and asked him not to mention specific names in Parliament with the intention of criticising the person.
Earlier, Mahathir said he was disappointed because his previous party, PPBM, which was formed to bring down the Barisan Nasional government, led by Najib, had believed that DAP would destroy the Malays.
“This has no basis. It is only to create fear among Malays to reject PH,” he said.
But such sentiment worked, he said, and PPBM members decided to exit PH. “Because of that, I resigned as the prime minister.”

Mahathir ni dah gila babi. He seems to be suffering from Najibophobia, a worse disease than Islamophobia or homophobia. What the fook is he saying? How can he lie to Parliament like that? Does this man have no honour and dignity?
Mahathir has been criticising Najib Tun Razak since 2013, seven years before the Pakatan Harapan government fell. In fact, Pakatan Harapan was not even born yet in 2013. So, what the hell is Mahathir saying?
In 2013, Mahathir criticised Najib for pandering to the Chinese while neglecting the Malays. The Chinese will never vote for Barisan Nasional anyway, said Mahathir, while the Malays form the backbone for Umno.
Mahathir is now DAP apologist number one, singing DAP’s praises to kingdom come
DAP then explained to the Chinese that they need to use Malays to fight Malays — so they are merely using Mahathir to bring down Najib, Umno and Barisan Nasional. In short, Mahathir is the tool of DAP and of the Chinese to demolish Malay political power.
This is what THEY say. This is not what Najib said. Hence what does Mahathir mean by ‘Najib had used DAP as the “bogeyman” to weaken the PH coalition’? Mahathir himself has been using DAP as the bogyman since way back in the 1980s. And DAP also admitted they were merely using Mahathir to defeat the Malays.
There is a limit to how much Malaysians can tolerate this buat rakyat macam bodoh attitude. Both Mahathir and DAP are treating Malaysians as if they are stupid. Actually, Malaysians are far more intelligent than Mahathir and DAP give them credit for.

It was also Najib who forced Muhyiddin Yassin to pull Parti Pribumi Bersatu or PPBM out of Pakatan Harapan AFTER Mahathir resigned as Prime Minister. It was also Najib who forced DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong to appoint Muhyiddin as PM8.
