IGP: Fugitive ex-SRC CEO Nik Faisal in Hong Kong, cops still hunting for Jho Low
(The Edge, 10 July 2020) — Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador today confirmed that former SRC International chief executive officer Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil and his family have been spotted in Hong Kong.
Without disclosing details on Nik Faisal’s presence in that country, Abdul Hamid said police had sent a letter to the Hong Kong authorities seeking their cooperation to arrest Nik Faisal.
“We have sent a letter with full information on Nik Faisal and his family but have yet to get a response from them (Hong Kong authorities). I will never give up (the hunt for Jho Low) because so much of the country’s money had been misappropriated (in 1MDB case),” said Hamid Bador. (READ MORE HERE)

Actually, IGP Hamid Bador is bullshitting and we have revealed this yesterday in the article Why is IGP Hamid Bador protecting Jho Low? The truth is, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad does not want Jho Low to return to Malaysia. If Jho Low is brought back and is put on trial, a lot of untold stories would be revealed to the public. Similarly, they do not want Nik Faisal to return to Malaysia as well. That is why the police are not able to arrest and extradite both Jho Low and Nik Faisal.

What Malaysians are not being told is that IGP Abdul Hamid Bador and one-time MACC chief Abu Kassim Mohamed — both cronies of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad — were hiding both Jho Low and Nik Faisal since the beginning of the 1MDB “explosion”. In fact, Abu Kassim had personally arranged for Nik Faisal to be hidden and given protection in Indonesia. Yes, Nik Faisal was in Indonesia all this while under Abu Kassim’s protection.
So how can they claim they cannot find Jho Low and Nik Faisal when Hamid Bador is hiding Jho Low while Abu Kassim is hiding Nik Faisal? If they want to bring Jho Low and Nik Faizal back to Malaysia they can do that today itself.

Abu Kassim tried to pass 1MDB probe papers to US Attorney’s Office in 2015: Fairfax CEO
(Malaysiakini, 10 January 2020) – Fairfax Group CEO Michael Hershman revealed that in 2015, then MACC chief Abu Kassim Mohamed had asked him to set up a meeting with the US Attorney’s Office in New York so that he could pass them the 1MDB investigation papers.
He claimed that Abu Kassim was also placed under surveillance at the time and forced to resign later.
Mahathir wants the opposite to happen so that only his version of the 1MDB story prevails
“In 2015, Abu Kassim was investigating the prime minister for money-laundering and misconduct and at that time, Abu Kassim told the attorney-general (Abdul Gani Patail) that the prime minister was a target of their investigation.
“When the AG confronted the PM, he was forced out of office and replaced by a friend of Najib’s. At the same time, Abu Kassim was placed under surveillance and pressured to resign from office,” he told Al Jazeera.
According to Hershman, it was at this point that Abu Kassim approached him for assistance.
“Abu Kassim, whom I have known for many years – he and I served together on an Interpol anti-corruption commission – asked if I would pass on documents to the US Attorney’s Office in New York and arrange for a secret meeting with him so that he could be assured that an entity outside of Malaysia would continue this investigation.
