Perikatan Nasional logo revealed by PM, to be used in Sabah polls
(Feedly.com) – Perikatan Nasional will use one logo for all its component parties in the coming Sabah state election, announces Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in Kota Kinabalu on Saturday (Aug 29).
The Prime Minister and Perikatan Nasional president revealed the logo with the words “PERIKATAN NASIONAL” in white capital letters on a dark blue background to party leaders at a Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia meeting in its Sabah headquarters on Saturday morning.
The logo is expected to be officially launched soon by the Prime Minister.
Perikatan had registered the coalition with the logo under Registrar of Societies (ROS) three weeks ago.
Perikatan now formally comprises of Bersatu and PAS but its ruling administration also includes Barisan Nasional parties Umno, MCA and MIC as well as Gabungan Parti Sarawak who call themselves Perikatan-friendly.
The Election Commission (EC) had announced that the Sabah state election will be held on Sept 26.
