Is Muhyiddin a dictator or a lame-duck Prime Minister?
These mixed signals and conflicting messages are confusing Malaysians. So, is Muhyiddin a fox or a duck? Or is he maybe a wolf or lion? What animal should Muhyiddin be attributed to? Or is he maybe a kancil — small, smart, and outwits all the other dumb animals?

We are receiving conflicting and confusing messages from both sides of the political divide.
On the one hand, Muhyiddin Yassin is said to be a dictator who does not consult his partners in the Perikatan Nasional government before he does anything — Budget 2021 being just one of the many examples of his dictatorial decisions.
On the other hand, Muhyiddin is said to be a weak and lame-duck Prime Minister who does not have enough support in Parliament, or in his own party PPBM or Bersatu, or in the Perikatan Nasional coalition.
In the morning, Muhyiddin is accused of being a dictator who does not listen to or does not take into consideration the views of his partners. In the afternoon, he is accused of being weak and of being a lame-duck PM who does not have control of the government, his party, or of the coalition.
These mixed signals and conflicting messages are confusing Malaysians. So, is Muhyiddin a fox or a duck? Or is he maybe a wolf or lion? What animal should Muhyiddin be attributed to? Or is he maybe a kancil — small, smart, and outwits all the other dumb animals?
Muhyiddin’s enemies, both within the government and in the opposition, need to make up their minds as to what Muhyiddin is supposed to be. They first accuse him of being a dictator. Then they accuse him of being a lame-duck PM. He can only be one or the other, not both.
So, who is the mastermind behind Budget 2021? In the past, who were those in charge of drafting Budget 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, etc? Was it the Finance Minister alone? Was it the Finance Minister together with the Prime Minister? Or was there a special unit or committee involved?
And, in the past, who were those in this unit or committee? Furthermore, was the Cabinet in the know about how the country was being run or was the Cabinet totally in the dark? The way the MPs are talking, even by those in the government or Perikatan Nasional, it is like only one or two people are aware of or were involved in Budget 2021 while the rest of the government is totally in the dark.
