There appears to be some confusion today regarding the alleged eight (some say ten) Umno MPs support of Anwar Ibrahim.
Actually, Lokman Noor Adam has already explained this matter in his Facebook video posting last night.
Lokman said 8 Umno MPs support Anwar to oust Muhyiddin but not for Anwar to become PM9
Lokman said eight Umno MPs have confirmed support for Anwar Ibrahim to oust Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin. Hence, because of the support of the Umno MPs, Anwar now has 113 MPs with him.
But the Umno MPs’ support for Anwar, said Lokman, is merely to topple Muhyiddin. This support does not extend to Anwar becoming the prime minister or PM9.
Lokman revealed that Umno can never agree to Anwar becoming PM9 or to Umno going into a coalition with PKR and/or DAP.
Umno wants Muhyiddin replaced with a caretaker PM until GE15 can be held as soon as it is safe enough
Once Muhyiddin is ousted, which is going to be on 15th December 2020, said Lokman, then they will leave this matter in the hands of Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
The Agong will know what to do, Lokman said. His Majesty is clever enough to know what has to be done once Muhyiddin has been ousted. And what His Majesty will do is to appoint a caretaker prime minister to head a caretaker government until the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic eases up and parliament can be dissolved to make way for GE15.
Zahid and Najib only want to see Muhyiddin ousted and PPBM kicked out
Lokman did not reveal who this caretaker prime minister will be — at the moment it is still a secret — but it is not going to be Muhyiddin or Anwar. So, is it going to be Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah since Najib Tun Razak and Ahmad Zahid Hamidi are facing court cases?
