Rosli Dahlan serves “Cease and Desist” letters on Lokman Adam, Sallehudin Amiruddin and Hanizam Yunus
Today, 1MDB’s lawyer, Rosli Dahlan, served “Cease and Desist ” letters on ex-Umno activist Lokman Noor Adam, Kuang State Assemblymen Sallehudin Amiruddin, and Pejuang member Mohd Hanizam Yunus.
The three, who are part of the AMC (Anti-Muhyiddin Campaign), are trying to create what can be dubbed as 1MDB 2.0. The strategy for 1MDB 2.0 is to allege that Rosli Dahlan received RM2 billion in legal fees from 1MDB, of which RM500 million is kick-backed to PPBM.
The AMC, which includes Pakatan Harapan, Pejuang, and the anti-muhyiddin faction in Umno, are hoping that the 1MDB 2.0 issue can bring Perikatan Nasional down in GE15, just like how the 1MDB scandal brought down Umno-Barisan Nasional in GE14.
In the three-year 1MDB smear campaign from 2015 to 2018, Najib Tun Razak’s media team basically did nothing and were clueless as to how to counter the allegation that the Prime Minister had stolen RM42 billion of 1MDB’s money. Rosli, however, is not taking the 1MDB 2.0 smear campaign lying down. He is hitting back with the full force of the law.
But then Rosli, who is Bugis by birth, has always been a fighter and he never shows mercy to those who cross him. Lokman Adam, Sallehudin Amiruddin and Hanizam Yunus may find Rosli a tougher adversary to face who will take them for everything they have if they do not back down but continue to attack him with this fake news.
