Hamid Bador fought hard to stay on…but lost in the end
After all, was it not Hamid Bador himself who complained that the Cartel is the real power behind PDRM? And is Hamzah not doing Hamid a favour by taking away the power of promotions and transfers of police officers from the hands of the Cartel? So why is Hamid so unhappy about that? Hamid’s “dream” of defeating the Cartel has finally been realised.
NO HOLDS BARRED
Raja Petra Kamarudin
Outgoing IGP Abdul Hamid Bador once boasted that Bukit Aman decides who becomes Prime Minister while the Cartel decides who becomes the IGP, the Directors, the CPOs, the OCPDs, etc. Hence Hamid Bador is pissed that he has been proven wrong.
Every time a new IGP, Director, CPO, or OCPD takes over, he will dismantle the old Cartel and build up his own/new Cartel. This is a sort of unwritten rule in Bukit Aman. You make hay while the sun shines. But once you retire, you make way for the new man to develop his own Cartel and make his money.
Umno has been running Bukit Aman since Dr Mahathir became Prime Minister in 1981
Hamid Bador, however, broke this rule. He wanted to continue running the Cartel even after he retires. So he tried to put all his proxies and nominees in the key positions in the police force so that, when he retires, he can become the de facto IGP.
But you do not do this. It is not the way the game is played. That is just not cricket, as the MCKK boys would say. You head the Cartel when you are in power. And as head of the Cartel you make as much money as you want. But once you leave, you leave. You let go and allow your successor to run his own show.
Hamid Bador is a victim of his own stupidity. He wanted to rule beyond the grave, and that has never been the way Bukit Aman does things.
Hamid Bador went to meet Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to seek the old man’s help in getting an extension of at least another year or two so that he can strengthen his hold on the Cartel. Hamid had hoped that Mahathir would speak to Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
Mahathir’s Deputy Home Minister, Megat Junid, used PDRM and Operasi Lalang to get rid of his political enemies
But either Mahathir would not help Hamid, or Muhyiddin would not listen to Mahathir — that part I am not too clear of. But one thing I do know is, Muhyiddin would never dare interfere in the matter and order Home Minister Hamzah Zainudin to extend Hamid’s tenure under contract.
Instead, Hamzah announced the new IGP without even informing Hamid. This is a message to the Cartel that the Home Minister and not the Cartel runs the Royal Malaysian Police Force.
And what is this nonsense about the Home Minister must not interfere in the internal affairs of the police force? Back in the mid-1980s, when Tun Dr Mahathir was the Prime Minister cum Home Minister, with Megat Junid Megat Ayub as his Deputy Home Minister, which was 35 years ago, Megat practically ran the police force as his private army.
It was Home Minister Syed Hamid and not the Special Branch who detained me under the ISA in 2008, it seems on the instructions of Khairy Jamaluddin
In fact, during Operasi Lalang in 1987, Megat included some of his personal enemies in the list of 119 detainees. TV3’s CEO, Ahmad Sebi Abu Bakar, was one of them.
Ahmad Sebi was in Mahathir’s inner circle, as was Megat Junid. Hence, they were both fighting to become Mahathir’s blue-eyed boy. So Megat used Bukit Aman to try to get rid of Ahmad Sebi so that he did not need to “share” Dr Mahathir with the TV3 boss.
So what the fook is Hamid Bador talking about? Since when is PDRM or Bukit Aman independent of the Home Ministry?
All Hamzah did was he did not extend the contract of Dr Mahathir’s anjing, that’s all
Do you remember my second ISA detention in 2008 (the first one was in 2001)? It was not Bukit Aman who detained me. It was the Home Minister Syed Hamid Syed Jaafar Albar. And, according to my sources in Bukit Aman, it was then Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s son-in-law, Khairy Jamaluddin, who asked Syed Hamid to detain me.
And, on the eighth day of my detention, the Home Ministry officers came to transfer me to Kamunting. Yes, the Home Ministry officers, not the Bukit Aman officers.
So Hamid Bador is talking cock. And what is Umno, Pejuang, DAP and those save-the-whale NGOs making so much noise about, asking that the Home Minister be investigated for “interfering” in the police force?
Hamid Bador, Umno, Pejuang, DAP and those save-the-whale NGOs are just Drama Queens. They are acting like Hamid Bador’s so-called “revelation” is a bombshell and something new that no one knew about before this. Sudahlah! Sudah tahu 35 tahunlah!

And now Pejuang is making so much noise. Seriously? Did Dr Mahathir not bring Hamid Bador back from retirement and made him the IGP so that he could control the police force? So what the fook are they complaining about? Hamid Bador is Mahathir’s anjing and all Hamzah did was not extend the contract of someone who should never have been the IGP in the first place.
Anyway, read more below to better understand what is going on.

(READ MORE HERE)

(Bernama, 11 June 2019) – When he received the call at 11am, Abdul Hamid Bador was at his vegetable farm in Rembau and had to rush back home to find the right attire to present himself before Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
“I found an old jacket in my house. I drove straight from my kampung to Putrajaya. At our meeting, Mahathir said that he wanted me to return to work and assist him.
“He offered me the post of Special Branch director. I informed Tun that there may be some confusion or technical problem because I had already retired.
“However, the prime minister told me he will ask the chief secretary to the government then to settle the matter,” he said.
Abdul Hamid was told by Mahathir that returning as the prime minister 15 years after having left the government, he faced many problems because he did not know “who was a friend and who was a foe” and that may jeopardise any plan to establish the dynamic government that he wanted.
As it was a request from the prime minister, Abdul Hamid said, he agreed to take up the offer and had to sign a document which was a one-year contract as the Special Branch director.
Asked whether, at that time, there was the talk of him being appointed the IGP, Abdul Hamid said: “There were indications from Mahathir (photo) and Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin that they wanted me to helm the police force earlier.
“With due respect, I rejected the offer and instead proposed several names for the posts of IGP and deputy IGP. I handed the proposed names personally to Tun and the home minister.
“After that, I did not know of my being offered the post of IGP, but there was such gossip in November. It was true that the home minister himself had stated then that he received a directive from the prime minister wanting me to helm the force, but once again I asked for the matter to be considered,” he said.
Then, last April, Abdul Hamid said, he was called up by the prime minister and was asked who he would pick or propose as the deputy IGP.
He said the prime minister asked him to propose several names for his consideration.
He said it did not come as a surprise when Mazlan Mansor, then Commercial Crime Investigation Department director, was appointed the deputy IGP.
“I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to helm the Royal Malaysia Police in accordance with my vision and mission.
“I am also thankful that the prime minister felt it was better to allow Fuzi Harun to complete his service as the IGP until the date of his retirement (on May 4),” Abdul Hamid said.

Dari D9 Ke Tahanan Tanpa Bicara
Brother Ali Basyeer…I share similar fate in JB like you. I was instructed by Zakaria Chik from Bukit Aman to report on corrupt practices in JB Police. I was the A. OCPD at Balai Sentral. I had 2 Charlie angels in Mrchinta. I found bugging device in my office, warned about being removed, A one to one interview with the madly corrupt Mantan CPO Botak who later became IGP and received the loudest Fuck You Award in the CPO Botak office. My informer warned me about being transferred far away.
Months later I was transferred to a non-existent post at CID Library Penang. My informer known as MAD DOG in Hokkien told me not to go as a bullet had been reserved for me upon arrival. At a chance meeting with an BPR officer, he warned me…Don’t be a SERPICO.
My Charlie Angels were harassed and asked to reveal my spendings at Mrchinta. I seek refuge at the Johor Military Force Officer Mess for a few weeks for fear of being killed. The Dy CPO came to advice for me to take the transfer. With tears in his eyes, he said, Morshidi…You are too far ahead of your time…
I took my flight ticket to Penang but diverted it back to Kuching. I reported to the late Tan Sri Dato Seri Yuen the Sarawak CPO, who took me under his section the Commissioner Secretariat together with a few graduate officers. I was told by the late CPO Yuen, he received a friendly call from the Mad Corrupted Mantan CPO Johore, to explicitly ruin my career. At 24 years old I was promoted to ASP!!! Before finding a good excuse to resign on 24 hrs notice, I was transferred 6 times to serve at Indonesia Border station at Terbedu, Semporna, ADC to the TYT and finally Adjutant 14 BN PFF Sibu all within 1 year. I was later personally advised by the new Sarawak Commissioner Datuk Dzuljifli then to leave quietly and not make enemy with the new IGP the Botak CPO who took over from Tan Sri Hanif. I went for self-exile to Brunei for 2 years.
An Ex 69 Commando officer just requested me to write a book today.. But I told him I want to live in peace…LET ALLAH DO THE JUSTICE…(13th December 2020)
