It looks like the Perikatan Nasional government is more serious about recovering 1MDB’s stolen money than the Pakatan Harapan government was. And the Pakatan Harapan government had 22 months to recover 1MDB’s money while the Perikatan Nasional government is doing everything in just one year.
Even more important than that, the Pakatan Harapan government was targeting to recover just US$1.5 billion or roughly RM6.1 billion. The Perikatan Nasional government, however, is targeting for more than RM100 billion or not less than US$24 billion.
Yes, RM6.1 billion for Pakatan Harapan versus more than RM100 billion for Perikatan Nasional. If that does not knock your socks off, then I don’t know what will.

Investigations have revealed that the majority of these 346 recipients are Chinese supporters of DAP from Penang. It seems former Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng had asked Tommy Thomas to ‘bury’ these cases.
The impression that Pakatan Harapan wanted to give is that only the Umno Malays stole from 1MDB. Investigations have now revealed that the DAP Chinese also received quite a lot of money from 1MDB. And, according to insiders, 1MDB’s lawyers are about to file suits against these 346 recipients of 1MDB’s money.
So there you are. The 1MDB scandal is not a Malay Umno scandal. It is also a DAP Chinese scandal. And once the 346 suits are filed, Malaysians will be able to see the list of names involved.

Even more damaging would be the revelation that Tommy Thomas buried these cases at the behest of Lim Guan Eng. Yes, Najib Tun Razak’s SRC case is RM42 million. These new cases about to be filed come to RM307 million.
What was that again which Pakatan Harapan screamed about? Selective prosecution? Yes, Pakatan Harapan should know since they are the experts of selective prosecution.
