It looks like Amar Singh stole hundreds of millions from Najib’s home

Did the police lie about seizing RM1.1 billion in cash and valuables or did they really seize RM1.1 billion in cash and valuables but more than half has been stolen while under the custody of Bukit Aman?

NO HOLDS BARRED

Three years ago, the Pakatan Harapan government raided premises occupied (but not necessarily owned) by former Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.

Before that, the Director of the Criminal Investigation Department, Amar Singh Ishar Singh, informed the mainstream media about the planned raid and he invited the reporters and camera crew to witness the raid.

Basically, the Pakatan Harapan government wanted to turn the whole event into a circus.

Najib and his family were not home at that time.

Amar Singh then held a press conference to announce that the police had seized RM1.1 billion in cash, jewellery, shoes, handbags, etc. in the raid. The cash alone was RM160 million in various currencies.

No proper seizure list was prepared. Worse still, the seizure list is supposed to be signed by the owners of the confiscated cash and valuables. This was not done. So no one really knows whether the announced RM1.1 billon cash and valuables really does exist or not.

Did Amar Singh steal hundreds of millions from Najib’s home?

Up to now, Najib and his wife have not been charged for the RM1.1 billion cash and valuable that the government says was from money stolen from 1MDB. And that is because they cannot prove that the RM1.1 billion in cash, jewellery, shoes, handbags, and so on, were actually from 1MDB.

Today, the court agreed that the government failed to prove that the RM1.1 billion in cash and valuables were from 1MDB.

But then, today, the court ruled regarding only the RM114 million cash. Why only RM114 million? What happened to the balance RM46 million? Where is another RM46 million in cash that was seized from Najib’s home? That amount is even higher than the SRC International RM42 million that they say Najib stole.

And what happened to the almost RM1 billion in valuables which the police also confiscated. These RM1 billion in valuables are supposed to be in Bank Negara’s vault but Bank Negara denies this and says what they have in safekeeping is far less than RM1 billion.

Did the police lie about seizing RM1.1 billion in cash and valuables or did they really seize RM1.1 billion in cash and valuables but more than half has been stolen while under the custody of Bukit Aman?
