An attempt to trigger May 13 v 2.0
This is a very dangerous political game that they are playing, which will put the Covid-19 deaths very pale by comparison. The idea of a DAP-led government replacing a Malay government is totally unacceptable to most Malays. Hence this is a recipe for an explosion.
NO HOLDS BARRED

After the failed coup attempt of 7th July 2021, the anti-government forces are trying again, this time by triggering May 13 version 2.0.
A fake “official statement” from the Prime Minister’s Office about Muhyiddin Yassin’s resignation is being circulated, which is creating a furore all over Malaysia. It has been reported that in some places in the Malay heartland, rumours are spreading that the Malay government has fallen and that a Chinese-backed government is poised to take over, again, like what happened on 10th May 2018.
Back in May 1969, the Umno government almost collapsed, and this triggered a race riot two days later when the Malays responded to the Chinese provocation and assembled in great numbers to defend Malay political power.
Exactly 49 years later, the Umno-led government collapsed when Barisan Nasional lost the general election or GE14.
Just 660 days on, Umno managed to regain political power, but this time in collaboration with two other Malay-based parties, PAS and Bersatu.
And now Umno is in danger of getting kicked out, yet again, due to the coup being plotted between Umno President Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.
Over the last two days, Umno activists such as Lokman Noor Adam have been telling Malaysians that Muhyiddin Yassin has technically fallen because Umno has withdrawn support for the Perikatan Nasional government.
Today, this so-called “official statement” from the Prime Minister’s Office has more or less confirmed that Muhyiddin Yassin has fallen and the Perikatan Nasional government has collapsed.
According to Pakatan Harapan, they now possess the majority in parliament and Muhyiddin will have to resign to make way for Anwar Ibrahim to take over. In essence, that would mean Umno, PAS and Bersatu will now be in the opposition and the Malays will no longer have political power.
Unless Umno quickly issues a statement saying they have not pulled out of the Perikatan Nasional government to make way for the DAP-led Pakatan Harapan to form a new government, Malaysia is going to get closer to a May 13 version 2.0.
This is a very dangerous political game that they are playing, which will put the Covid-19 deaths very pale by comparison. The idea of a DAP-led government replacing a Malay government is totally unacceptable to most Malays. Hence this is a recipe for an explosion.
