Has Najib now been reduced to spreading fake news?
Instead of spreading fake news, Najib should be spending his time advising Malaysians to obey the rules. If people obey the rules, many more lives could be saved. Today, Malaysia is number 85 out of 155 countries. Malaysia can do even better if Malaysians become less bodoh-sombong.

(FMT) – Malaysia has reached a new low becoming the country with the highest number of new Covid-19 cases and deaths daily against the size of the population, former prime minister Najib Razak said today.
“Number one in the world. Even if we don’t take into account the size of the population, we would remain in the top 10 in the world,” he said in a Facebook post today. Najib added that the country’s Covid-19 cases are 10 times higher than the averages across the rest of the world and even among Asian countries alone. (READ MORE HERE)
Actually, Malaysia is number 85, not number one, in Covid-19 deaths per capita, or per one million population, as at three days ago on 22nd July 2021 (SEE THE CHART BELOW).
And if not because of the stubbornness of many Malaysians regarding staying home during the recent Hari Raya Haji, the figures would have dropped even more.
Then we have the many SMIs-SMEs in Selangor that continue to operate behind closed doors with illegal workers who refuse to register for the Covid-19 vaccinations because they are scared that they will be detained and deported.
And have you seen the living conditions of these workers? They are packed into a tight space like chickens in a henhouse. They not only spread Covid-19, but also other diseases as well. Even in so-called “advanced” Singapore this is the same case (see the Aljazeera report on this matter).
Actually, Malaysia is not doing too badly in spite of the stubbornness of Malaysians. Malaysia’s traffic accidents and death rate are also very high (on a per capita basis it is 10 times that of the UK). And this is also for the same reason (rakyat Malaysia bodoh-sombong).
