Sarawak Report is suggesting the Agong is committing treason or derhaka
What Sarawak Report reported is not entirely true and implicating the Agong in an act of treason is extremely irresponsible of them. The Federal Constitution of Malaysia puts the Agong above politics and His Majesty is prohibited by law from participating in any power-grab moves or coup to topple the government.

Sarawak Report: Crucially, these ‘opposition’ MPs, who now count themselves to be at least 114 out of 220, have received the open backing of the King who has rightly demanded that the prime minister he originally appointed should submit himself to a vote of parliament to test his discredited claim to hold its confidence. On the one hand you have a minority prime minister appointed by the King who has now openly withdrawn that approval.
Malaysia Today: Nazri Aziz said today that the onus is on Anwar Ibrahim, who claims to have majority support, to prove his claim. It is not up to Muhyiddin Yassin to prove Anwar is wrong, Anwar must prove he is right, since he and not the PM is making the claim. This is based on the principle that he/she who makes an allegation would have to prove it.
Sarawak Report says Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong “has rightly demanded that the prime minister he originally appointed should submit himself to a vote of parliament to test his discredited claim to hold its confidence” and that “the King has now openly withdrawn that approval.”
This is a very serious allegation because if this is true then the Agong is acting beyond his authority and is collaborating in a plot to topple the government. This would mean the Agong is committing an act of treason.
Sarawak Report: Young folk hit the streets in defiance of his ludicrously conflicting and plainly political constraints and given they behaved so well and had the country rooting for them the police dared not hurt them.
Malaysia Today: Those few kids dressed in black were mobilised by Tian Chua and Malik Hussin, PKR activists aligned to Anwar Ibrahim. Tian Chua and Malik Hussin have been organising street demonstrations since 20th September 1998 until today. They are what would be called anarchists and agitators, and every country in the world has people such as these.
Tian Chua, together with Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, C4’s Cynthia Gabriel, and PKR’s Elizabeth Wong, made a trip to the US in 2002 to negotiate with IRI and NED for funding to organise street protests in Malaysia to bring down the government. George Soros started the ball rolling by transferring US$1 million to PKR’s offshore Hong Kong bank account.
Since 2002, almost 20 years now, the US has been sending millions to PKR, C4, and Bersih — not to mention also to Malaysiakini, Pakatan Harapan’s media arm. In 2001, an Australian report revealed that Anwar Ibrahim was being funded by Islamic groups in the US (who were initially implicated in the 911 terrorist attacks but were later cleared).
