Ambiga: dreaming the impossible dream
Everything in Malaysia is about politics. Everything! Even religion. Never mind whether it is Barisan Nasional or Pakatan Harapan. It is all the same. Are you suggesting that Pakatan Harapan plays politics differently from Barisan Nasional? If you are, then you probably also believe in the tooth fairy and Santa Claus.
NO HOLDS BARRED
Raja Petra Kamarudin
“Ambiga Slams Top Pakatan Leaders For Not Giving Way To Younger Generation,” said The Vibes today (READ HERE).
Is Ambiga Sreenevasan for real or is she living in a make-belief world? Politics, especially in Asia, is the politics of the warlords. Young people DO NOT have warlord status, and why should the older generation give way to the younger generation?
In politics, no one will give you power. If you want power, you need to grab it, not wait for it to be given.
No wonder the Pakatan-Harapan-friendly NGOs are failures, almost all of them. They do not understand politics. They think politics is like charity work where you wait for a Good Samaritan to come and offer you power.
No way, Jose! You want power, you must fight for it and grab it. Go study Sun Tzu and Machiavelli if you want to understand the politics of power. If not, you will be talking like Ambiga and expect politicians to offer you power as if Santa Clause has come to town.
One example would be those many do-gooders, social activists, NGOs, etc., attacking Tajuddin Rahman on his appointment as Malaysia’s ambassador to Indonesia. These people barking and foaming at the mouth do not understand politics and the logic behind Tajuddin’s appointment.
I think this is a brilliant move by prime minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob. Of course, many question whether Tajuddin is suitable or not to be given the post of an ambassador. Hell, this is politics lah, the politics of power, and if you have to question Tajuddin’s appointment, then you know nuts about politics.

Hello, politics is politics, whether Barisan Nasional or Pakatan Harapan. Both play the same game. And Ambiga is living in denial, or is trying to con Malaysians, if she is suggesting that Pakatan Harapan is different from Barisan Nasional. Did Pakatan Harapan’s poster boy, Anwar Ibrahim, not invent money politics when he was in Umno?
Ambiga, please don’t tempt me to mencarut. Stop making silly statements, as if you have just learned about politics yesterday. You, of all people, know what politics is and what type of politics Malaysia and the rest of Asia plays. Jangan cakap macam budak-budak.
