When losers get rewarded despite being voted out
Malaysians are too tired to argue about what is right anymore because whatever was clearly cast on the ballot paper does not carry weight if the prime minister himself does not respect the voice of his own support base.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has once again averaged his losses by appointing those who lost in the 15th general election as senators to be given ministerial roles.
It is also not surprising for Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi made deputy prime minister despite his ongoing trial over 47 charges of abuse, corruption and money laundering for the sake of keeping our unity government intact – even if it meant turning a blind eye.
Malaysians are too tired to argue about what is right anymore because whatever was clearly cast on the ballot paper does not carry weight if the prime minister himself does not respect the voice of his own support base.
If unity meant accepting corrupt and biggest losers in GE15 due to their influence or network in securing ministerial roles, who will coerce our PM for reforms then?
Political apathy does not mean Malaysians are not angry for the bait and switch over the GE15 mandate. The alternative of having a Perikatan Nasional/ PAS government would have made hair salon operators nationwide hit rock bottom again, only after recently reviving their businesses since being hit by Covid-19 lockdowns.
Politicians really need to behave like real leaders and understand what is really happening on the ground.
We the people, do not have easy access to the royal institution but elected MPs are morally responsible to relay the people’s plight to the royalties as our representatives.
Enough with gathering letters of support to form a government because it just shows to the world that power is just a game of averaging losses in this country.
Learn to put a nation’s interest first by having a clear vision of leadership and political will to make tough decisions rather than appeasing old guards.
I have been a loyal PKR member and Anwar supporter all these years for his reformist ideals.
Today he is the 10th prime minister and Pakatan Harapan has gotten a second chance to make amends but as a voter, I have never felt even more betrayed.
Marginalised communities will remain status quo, as there are no clear Indian leaders filling up the ministerial roles. It looks like we are back to square one and time will tell if Malaysia will ever be a just and fair nation for all ethnicity.
May we learn from this and form a new force to reset the leadership of this nation in the next five years.
Malaysians now understand that we only have ourselves to look out for each other. Leaders are bred and politicians sprout like parasitical beings.
