Annuar: I saw my ‘beloved home’ go down in flames
Tan Sri Annuar Musa appeared to have hinted he was no longer with Umno, saying that he dreamt about seeing his beloved inheritance house destroyed in a fire.
(NST) – The 66-year-old Umno veteran however did not make direct reference to Umno but had posted a photograph of himself smiling while standing in front of the Barisan Nasional command centre in Padang Serai during the 15th General Election.
This was amid talks that Annuar, a former Barisan Nasional secretary-general, had been sacked from the party.
In a Facebook post, he said he had dreamt that his inheritance house was on fire, suspected due to a short circuit or a disconnected wire, and many had fled the property.
“I love the house. I tried to extinguish the flames to stop more from running away.
“When the fire was raging, many ran away, and suddenly I was pulled out from the flames.
“Now I can only watch the fire from the outside. Although I love the home very much, I can only pray to God and ask for help that the house is saved,” he wrote.
Annuar has not responded to NST’s request for comments.
Yesterday, it was reported that Umno had sacked three of its members for tarnishing the party’s image during the GE15 campaign.
Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi said the trio comprised of one division head and two Wanita division chiefs.
He did not disclose the identities of the party leaders.
