MACC nabs Bersatu treasurer for matters related to party funds
Source says Datuk Mohd Salleh Bajuri has been remanded for two days
(The Vibes) – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested Bersatu treasurer Datuk Mohd Salleh Bajuri for matters relating to the use of party funds.
An MACC source told The Vibes he was arrested yesterday and has been remanded for two days.
Meanwhile, a party official criticised the action as part of a politically motivated witch-hunt targeting party leaders.
“They seem to be going after everyone who handles party funds,” he said, adding that Salleh has fulfilled his duties as treasurer with integrity and professionalism.
