Report: Kedah MB digs in heels over federal event ‘blacklist’ claim
Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor has insisted there is a Cabinet directive barring him from events organised by the federal government.
(MMO) – He told Utusan Malaysia today that the document was shown by a ministry official to an official of the Kedah Menteri Besar’s Office.
“A ministry had a meeting in Langkawi yesterday. The officer showed the Cabinet directive to an official of the Menteri Besar’s Office who had attended the meeting,” he was quoted as saying by the Malay daily.
Yesterday, Muhammad Sanusi claimed that he had been prevented from attending all federal government functions, including the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2023 (LIMA ‘23), which will take place next May.
