No invite, no problem says Sanusi
Kedah Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor was once again not invited to attend a ceremony organized by the Federal Government.
(Sinar Daily) – Sanusi said it was just a small matter and he was not discouraged at all after an invitation was sent to the Kedah Chief Minister’s Office.
According to him, invitations should be made if it involves official affairs or programmes related to administration.
“I’m not discouraged, at the same time I have to attend other programmes that were planned earlier,” he said at a press conference after the handing over ceremony of winning incentives for the Malaysian Games (SUKMA) Kedah athletes at the Kedah Youth and Sports Complex here on Thursday evening.
Most recently, Sanusi who is also the Kedah Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman did not receive an invitation to the iftar ceremony organised by the Home Ministry at the Police Training School in Sungai Petani on Friday.
The programme was attended by Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Home Minister, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
