Anwar gives assurance that the MA63 issue will be resolved soon
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has given his assurance to leaders in Sabah and Sarawak that the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA1963) issue will be solved as soon as possible.
(Sinar Daily) – Anwar explained that the issue had started decades ago and he refused to drag it any longer.
“I hereby gives full mandate to the Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof to complete the content of the signed agreement and implement it.
“There are those who ridicule our effort because they claim the government wants to guarantee support from Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).
