Perlis MB not remanded, allowed to go home
Perlis Menteri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli has been allowed to go home after having his statement recorded by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC).
(NST) – In his official Facebook post written by an admin, it said that Shukri was not remanded.
“[Admin] MB was not remanded. He was allowed to go home after providing his statement.”
Earlier today, Shukri was hauled up by the MACC to have his statement recorded over his son’s alleged false claims issue.
The 63-year old, who is Perlis Pas Commissioner, was present at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya early this morning.
However, it was learnt that no such supply was delivered as claimed. The authenticity of the document could not be immediately verified.
