MACC grants Dr Mahathir’s sons final extension to declare assets

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has granted a final one-month extension to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s two elder sons to declare their assets.

(NST) – MACC Chief Commissioner Azam Baki said that Mirzan Mahathir and his brother, Mokhzani, now have until mid-September to submit their asset declarations.

“This will be the final extension. If they fail to comply, the MACC will take legal action,” Azam said at a press conference after officiating the Anti-Corruption Initiative Through the Empowerment of Accounting and Auditing Practices programme at a hotel here today.
